Stain and scratch removals

At Oz Cleaning Services we recognize the service you require may go far beyond the simple cleaning of a surface or building: Window cleaners clean glass, they do not restore glass surfaces.

Window cleaning removes dirt and pollution, it does not remove:

Over time, certain products can damage glass beyond repair. Most problems we encounter are due to a lack of attention at the initial/final cleaning phase. With buildings more than a few years old, this damage cannot be repaired completely, the best one can hope for is a significantly improved surface.

Egg

An unfortunate reality of todays society is the growing trend of “egging” of buildings. This is deeply frustrating and if not attended to in a speedy fashion can be extremely difficult to remove. As most “egging” occurs from the ground it is rare it see egg marks above the fourth floor. For buildings of six stories or less we can generally remove bird egg marks using water-fed poles and heated purified water.

Each of our mobile units have the ability to produce heated water of around 70 degrees centigrade. The heat, combined with the solvent nature of purified water quickly removes any traces of the egg. As we are using Water-Fed Poles this is a quick and painless process, and does not require any type of expensive lifting equipment to be employed.

Please contact us as soon as you have a problem as over time the surface becomes increasingly difficult to clean. In extreme cases it is necessary to get right up in front of the mark and use scrappers to remove debris.

Grafitti

Oz Cleaning Services offers graffiti removal services for both glass and facade. Depending on the nature of graffiti we have a number of different options available:

On Glass, if the graffiti is still fresh we can often remove it with our hot water system/ and or a number of chemical based agents we have.

For more serious graffiti our scratch repair equipment can be used to remove all traces.

The same applies for facade, but will be dependent on the nature of the surface to which the graffiti was applied. We also wok closely with a number of specialist graffiti removal firms, at discounted rates who will be able to help if the work is beyond our scope of operations.

Facade vegetation control

Shrubs, weeds and Ivy growing on buildings can cause structural instability and extensive damage to the fabric of your building. Through a combination of our access techniques we can remove vegetation and debris associated with this growing problem.

We have found that the use of our pure heated water (to around 80 Degrees C) to be particularly effective in the removal of moss and lichen. As this is generally accessed using our Water-Fed Pole technology the speed and therefore price can be substantially reduced when compared to traditional methods.

Scatch Removals

Scratches to glass is a part of life: Bangs and knocks inevitably happen in all environments- the problem is that one unsightly blemish is there every time you look out of the window.

Common sense dictates that if you want to fix a scratch you must remove some glass to get to the bottom of the scratch. The simple fact is there is no magic way to effectively remove scratches and restore scratched glass to its original clarity. However to the naked eye it is extremely difficult to actually see any imperfection once we have treated it.

The technology that we have imported from the US goes 3 times deeper than other methods and removes mild to serious scratches with little distortion. This allows us to take on jobs that our competitors would not be able to handle.

We use a series of advanced glass cutting discs created by a patented micro-replication process. This breakthrough technology forms the discs by applying microscopic 3-D structures in a uniform manner. The discs are micron graded for effectiveness and quality thus producing a high quality restoration without wild scratches
